WHERE IT ALL STARTED
Mudbugs has been serving hot, fresh Louisiana-style crawfish since 2003. What started as a small takeout shack quickly became a local staple, built on long lines, loyal regulars, and crawfish done the right way. As the years passed, that little shack grew into two busy locations that feel like home to the Reservoir and downtown Brandon communities.
Mudbugs 047 opened first, followed by Mudbugs 042 in 2016. Each location has its own personality and crowd, but both deliver the same thing people keep coming back for season after season. Great Food, Good Times, Live Music.
2026 marks our 24th crawfish season, and we’re just getting started. Crawfish put us on the map, but our menu has grown to include smoked wings, BBQ plates, Build Your Own burgers, kid-friendly favorites, and more. Live music most weekends keeps both locations buzzing all season long.
Mudbugs is about more than crawfish. It’s about showing up, feeding people well, and creating a place where friends, families, and first-timers all feel at home. We’re proud of where we started, and even more excited about what’s ahead.

The venue at Mudbugs 047 is available for rentals most of the year, while Mudbugs 042 offers a private room perfect for smaller groups.
